Hi, my name is Travis. I’m a SAMA nominated multi-instrumentalist/producer/songwriter originally from Johannesburg, South Africa but I permanently reside in the New Orleans, Louisiana. I currently drum with 'The Wolfe Johns Blues Band', 'The Fabulous Von Zippers', front Alternative/Rock band “Dead Days”, and recently started a new project called  "Deep Sleep Atlantic" too, but thought I’d set up a personal site to showcase some of the other things I’m currently up.

“Travis Marc is on fire”  - Rhythm Magazine.

“A hell of a dude, who’s played with some massive acts yet manages to focus more on other peoples achievements than his own” - SA Drums and Percussion Magazine.

"Here's a guy to look out for" - Drummer Magazine (UK).

“Travis is my first choice session musician, due to his diversity and humble nature” - Legend Music Records.

“This guys a pro” - Ian D Sa, (Billy Talent).

“Anyone into the Rockier side of things needs to check out Travis and his band, I’m an instant fan" - Cassell (The Streets, PlanB).

“A truly original and solid player” - Johnny Craviotto (Craviotto Drums).

I’ve been playing and writing music professionally for about twenty five years now, yet still feel like an excited kid whenever I have an instrument in front of me. I’ve been extremely fortunate during this time to have performed and worked with some amazingly talented artists, in amazing venues and locations all around the world. Some of these artists include ‘Little Mix” (X-Factor Winners), “Ellie Goulding” (British Pop Sensation), “Laura Evans” (UK Country Star), “1st Project” (SA Percussion Group), Ray Dylan (Afrikaans Pop Star) and “Pyramid Tongue” (SA Rock Band).

In addition to the current solo and band gigs I do, I find myself writing and recording for a fair amount for other artists. If you would like me to get involved with your project (be it live or studio) please feel free to contact me.
